Spacely AI's 2024 Reflection

💙 Hey everyone,

As we wrap up 2024, I want to take a moment to say a heartfelt thank you. Your support, feedback, and trust have helped shape Spacely AI into what it is today. We started as a small team in Thailand, and thanks to you, we’ve grown into a global AI design platform used by hundreds of thousands of people. Together, we’ve created over two million images for customers in more than 50 countries, working closely with architects, designers, and real estate professionals to turn their visions into reality.

This year brought some incredible milestones. We earned a spot in the Top 10 at Echelon 2024 in Singapore, took first place at the Property Portal Watch Conference 2024 in Thailand, and joined the Finno Efra Accelerator by Krungsri Finnovate. We connected with amazing customers, partners, investors, and mentors. We also caught the attention of The Verge, being recognized as “one of the most recommended AI-based design platforms on social media,” and landed third place at the SketchUp Global Startup Challenge as the only Asian startup on the global stage.

But our growth wasn’t just about recognition—it was about building better tools for you. We gave our website a fresh new look, launched Portfolio+ so designers can easily share their work, and introduced the Spacely AI Search Engine & Spacely AI GPT to help you find the latest insights and assist with everyday tasks. We even rolled out a SketchUp Extension, letting you use Spacely AI right inside the tools you already know and love.

And we’re not stopping there. As a special treat, we’re looking to release the AI Design Canvas, which combines your favorite features into one powerful image editor. Plus, we’re updating our Virtual Staging feature (formerly Empty Space) to help real estate professionals visualize their customer's dream spaces more easily than ever.

🌟 2025 is just around the corner, and we see big shifts coming for AI in architecture:

• From AI Copilot to Agentic AI: AI will go beyond concept sketches and become an active partner in the design process.
• Ecosystems Over Silos: Firms will rely more on specialized AI startups to streamline workflows and improve quality, making collaboration the new norm.
• Data-Driven Decision-Making: Architects will embrace AI insights, speeding up projects and making them smarter, more inclusive, and more cost-effective.
• Welcoming Change: End customers are warming up to AI-generated work. We’ve seen projects that close deals with stunning AI produced visuals in record time.
